I believe George W. Bush will go down in history as the best President of all time. I would like to see him feel free to be more conservative, but I understand it's still a political game.
As for those dying, I do not believe that they have died for no reason. Before the war in Iraq, thousands had died at the hands of Saddam's people, he had used chemical weapons on his on people. he had people dipped in acid, thrown off buildings and even worse. I don't think those fighting that or those fighting Islam are dying in vain.
People need to understand that Muslims want us to convert or die. For them their is no other choice, some may not say that but that is what the koran teaches. Our soldiers are protecting the entire world and most people don't even know it.
I support our troops and always will.
God bless America and it's Armed forces.
Thank you for your service.

I just shrug off the anti-Bush crap as you put it. Like water off a ducks back. Yes, it's old hat, but whatever floats their pathetic little boats.
The beauty of living in America, is that no matter how stupid you are, you have a right to say it out loud. Oddly very few on the left see how saying things like "Chimpy McHitlerburton" or "Bush Lied, Kids Died." is viewed by the rest of the world.
I happen to have family in England, and they are just blown away by the seething hatred spewed by the American lefty Kool-Aid drinking Ditto-heads. Such a nice front to show the world.
I know that I know that if a soldier dies in Iraq, Afghanistan, or else where, it's for a reason. Be it an accident, or in combat. There is always a reason. And in the case of the liberation of Iraq and the house cleaning in Afghanistan, it's a noble cause.
And I thank you good sir for being a part of that.

As a Republican Voter, I too believe that George W. Bush is doing his responsibilities to the best of his ability and Bush is very committed to his job as President of the United States of America and as a leader for Planet Earth during a time in America when America is having Hope and Victory in an Uncertain World. In answer to your question, men and woman who have died or get injured in the US Military risk their life so that one day future generations of Americans do not have to. I look at the American Revolution where thousands and thousands of men gave their lives to make the United States of America an Independent Country from the British Empire and I truly believe that had the US lost the American Revolution, the history of the World would have altered forever and the USA for that matter may have never existed or have one day be a Commonwealth or a Dominion to the United Kingdom.

I don't disagree that my fellow Marines and Soldiers think that they are dieing for the reasons they believe in. That much is true; however the politicians are not being truthful about the reasons we are over there and that is what I have a problem with. I was a Marine for 8 years so I get where you are coming form but this war is no good. I is a politicians war. We can not win the way everyone wants us to. Its just not possible. We should declare victory and get the hell out of dodge. That's what is going to happen anyway is just a matter of how many years we wait to do so.

I am not a true Republican, But I am a Conservative.
First of all I would like to thank you and all your brothers in Arms for protecting me and my family.
Yes, I am sick of people with all their hate toward our President.
But, I figure that these people do not even pay attention to world events, and get their news from liberal socialistic (traders) new papers and news stations. so, what the heck do they know anyway...
The president is doing a good job, and the fact that he lets the generals run the war rather than try and make all the decision's just shows he understands how to win a war...
This is a picture of my political leanings
1) Libertarian Party 88%
2) Constitution Party 75%
3) Republican Party 56%
4) Reform Party 50%
5) Democratic Party 31%
6) Natural Law Party 19%
7) Green Party 13%
party test taken at http://www.3pc.net/matchmaker/index.html
I honor and respect all the men who have fallen in this war to me and my family they were all hero's, as are the ones who are over there fighting now.
I also pray that Israeli troops are successful in their mission in this war on terror.
again Thank You...

The anti Bush rhetoric is very disturbing, it's okay to disagree with the president but many are taking way to far. We are at war, and if for no other reason we need to support not only the troops but our Commander-In-Chief. I agree with you, the Military is all volunteer, and those who join know that there is always the possibility that they may be called to serve during wartime. I know my husband served in the Army during Vietnam, along with both of my brothers-in-law. My father, was awarded two Purple Hearts while serving in the Pacific during WWII, (a Marine). I don't mean to sound like I take the "hate speech" lightly, but I really do think you just have to consider the source. Thank you for your service to our country!
I also think President Bush is doing a good job, he has been handed allot to deal with, and I can't imagine that his predecessor or any who ran against him could have handled themselves as well! Pray for him and our troops! Thanks again.

well bush is the head of the administration and thus to blame for all the bad things going on. the problem is that he is much like reagan: a puppet president who was elected for his 'likability'. meanwhile cheney and rumsfeld are behind every policy decision. i don't think bush is necessarily stupid. i just don't think he's very good at his job. he doesn't seem to understand the effect that his administration's decisions have on so many.
and you are correct about the military. those people should know what they are signing up for. but they were promised a 'gulf war' and they're getting a 'vietnam'. things like stop-loss, inadequate armor and supplies, and the fact that reservists who are making a pittance and losing their homes and real jobs bac home are laying down there lives to protect civilian contractors who are making $80K to do the same job any service man could easily do.
war is hell. republicans managed to brainwash most of this country into believing their story about freedom and democracy and wmd's; now they have to accept the backlash when their arguement falls apart before their eyes on national television every night.

I'm not sick of it anymore, I just tune it out. Bush bashing shows the ignorance and stupidity of the left. THEY don't UNDERSTAND how our military works. IT is a voluntary service. People sign UP to go into the service. They sign up, KNOWING they MAY go to war. If they've signed up in the last few years, they know they ARE going to war.
If Bush found the cure for cancer, they'd complain about out of work lab workers.
If Bush developed a new energy source that didn't' pollute and EVERYONE could use it and it didn't deplete any natural resource, they'd complain about him having a monopoly.
When I hear someone bashing Bush, I ASK them point blank, WHY do you hate bush, they always answer, "because he lied", then I ask, what did he lie about,,,,,,,,,I usually get a blank stare.
They are all just PO'd that they LOST the last 2 elections and their Actorvist buddies like George Clooney and Babs etc.. make it worse for them.

The liberal media and people that do not vote are to blame. So many people will claim to be supportive, but in truth they are just like a bra laying in a drawer, it's only supportive if you use it.
My highest commendations to you, I KNOW you are protecting our country and the innocent people that would have been killed by Saddam in Iraq. There were people living in America that were against our involvement in WWII also, well, thank God that president had the courage to know what was best for America too. Tell every single one of our troops that the MAJORITY supports them, we love them and many of us pray each day for ALL of them. Stand strong and proud soldiers, we support you!

sorry, I thought this question was for true republicans, not proto-fascists. I prefer the republicans of Goldwater's era. The ones considered by you all to be left of center, now. The ones for reducing the size of government, reducing spending, reducing governmental involvement in people's lives. The ones that represent the republic, not 37% of the republic. The ones that will have a fighting chance in the next election.
