I took Russian about 10 years ago in college and found it to be easier than I expected. The alphabet is intimidating at first. But once I learned it, there wasn't a problem. The perfective verbs were the hardest part I think.
But, in my experience I found German grammar harder than Russian. And, I found Vietnamese harder to pronounce properly than Russian.

Russian will customarily essentially the most valuable, peculiarly in Eastern Europe and Western Asia. Russia is an international-elegance oil and fuel exporter, and has an broad cultural history. They are all 3 Category II Languages (massive linguistic and/or cultural variations from English), more difficult to gain knowledge of than German, however Czech would be the simplest because it makes use of a variation of the Latin alphabet, and Russian the toughest, because it has a thoroughly-inflected grammar.

If your native language is English - yes.
If your native language is French, Spanish or German than it's easier - some grammatical concepts are easier to understand.
I don't know how hard it is for people from Asia

It's not that hard, I'm going into my 3rd year this fall. As long as you don't slack off, and pay attention in class it's just as easy to pick up as spanish.
