I was a little surprised to see Reynolds fired, given that he was the one likable guy on Baseball Tonight. Even if he didn't know what he was talking about, he seemed like a decent guy.

What I'm wondering is who ESPN should next get rid of, given their lineup of imbeciles when it comes to baseball. Should it be Joe Morgan, who's bad enough that he has a whole site dedicated to his idiocy (www.firejoemorgan.com), the moronic Steve Phillips, or someone else from a crew that generally has no idea (except, of course, for the great Peter Gammons).

Your thoughts?

Joe Morgan, then Tim McCarver (he's secretly in love with Deion).

Why is it that SO many people think Morgan should be fired, but he keeps winning Emmy awards? I don't get it.

I think Steve Phillips has more knowledge than any of them, but he's probably even more unlikable than John Kruk or Joe Morgan.

I always thought Harold Reynolds really knew what he was talking about, even though it was so hard to understand his mushmouth delivery.

Just don't make it Tim Kirkjen. Why does he always think whatever he says is really funny. No one else does.

I'd like to see them bring in someone new. It will most likely be a player. I think it would be great if they were to bring in Lou Pinella. There's no question that he knows what he's talking about, and he's the type of guy you want to watch because you never know what he's going to say, kind of like Terry Bradshaw on NFL Live.

Get better Peter Gammons.

Your right about Mr. Gammons, he's great. I also liked Harold Reynolds, I have never been much of a fan of Joe Morgan, but I am not as devoted to getting him fired as that website guy.

The reason why you liked Mr. Gammons cause he is a Red Sox fan. You see, I don't like Analysts that always talk about their team or can tell which team they root for or against. I believe writers and analysts should be neutral and talk about all teams equally.

That's why I like Harold Reynolds. He gives you a full account of teams regardless if they are in the playoff hunt or not.

What is everyone's beef with John Kruk? Been a baseball fan for over 30 years and he's one of the few "analysts" who says anything of value.

Having said that, I'd like to see Ravech moved and put someone in place "like" a Dave Niehaus. Someone who actually played a bit but is known more for the broadcasting.

I would say Steve Phillips or Joe Morgan... Morgan, great player, but as a broadcaster... he sucks.
