NO! It is cheaper without a doubt...but It is considered hurricane season so be prepared! I went to Cozumel Mexico in 2001 one on a cruise and they had to re-route the cruise to follow the hurricane rather than go into it, so by the time we got to the beach, it was disasterous! Be so careful, good luck. Go during Charter Season, where it is the best down there, Charter season is between the end of december and mid april. Alot of deals are available!

If you are going to worry about the hurricane season you can't go to Cancun between June and December! Just make sure you are up to date with hurricane information and be prepared for a quick change of plans if necessary.

If you don't like excessive heat, November is a good month in Cancun. It does rain a little above average, but normally only quick showers.

Sounds like winter is the best time, weather-wise. I've been there twice, April and October. Both were very humid and hot. June - November is hurricane season, but also have the best deals. Plan lots of water activities and you can stay cool. Newer places have better accommodations. Drink bottled water. All inclusive packages vary from really poor to unbelievable. Ask a travel agent where they have been!

I got married in Cancun 2 years ag around the end of November. The weather was perfect it only rained 1 day and temperature was around 80-88 degrees...very humid. If you can go all inclusive (all food and drinks are free).

Have Fun

I was in Cancun in November and it was wonderful. I think it was in the low 80's. Take sunscreen and a hat. A word of advice, if you are doing a channel crossing to the Yucatan Peninsula the channel can be extremely rough that time of year. Try to stay in Cancun if at all possible.

November is windy, chilly and still hurricane season. The temp is still great, a lot of sun but don´t hesitate to bring a jacket and sweatshirts.

You can find great deals in both lhotel and car rental but if you are looking for lots of people, is not the right season for that, but anyway, Cancun is great all year round!!! Welcome to Mexico!

It's going to be warm during the day (upper 80s), it starts to get dark very early, a little after 5pm, and the nights are nice and cool. The weather can be a little volatile as far as storms, etc. The ocean was pretty rough when I was there during that time, but I'm not sure if that was normal or a fluke...
