It depends on the individual woman. Women that normally bleed heavily may be suprised with some spotting and a little bit of blood during implantation. Women that normally bleed lightly will probably mistake this as the start of their period. Or, you may not bleed at all, and you totally miss your period. Pregnancy tests can give you a result as soon as a few days after your missed period, but a negative might not be a true negative.
I've heard of, though have never witnessed or known anyone personally that went through it, situations such as Clover outlines, but this is typically an unusual circumstance.

Well under normal situations I would say slap her with the book of truth. The first missed period is a good sign of being pregnant. But I had a cousin that didn't realize she was pregnant until the day she delivered. She still had her period and she didn't look pregnant. I don't know how often that happens, but my cousin proved to me that it is possible to have a period and be pregnant.

Slap her with the book of truth . . . missing a period is a strong sign of pregnancy, but many women bleed when they become pregnant like a light period. It's called implantation bleeding. The only sure way to know is by taking a pregnancy test.

I consider Heather that you count number the first day of your very last cycle to the day earlier your next cycle because the length of your cycle. even as it truly is actual that maximum women have 28-31 day cycles, it truly is likewise trouble-free to have longer or shorter cycles. also, even as some might want to imagine that they are maximum fertile interior the middle, there are as lots of those who're maximum fertile on the 9th day of their cycle as there are who're maximum fertile on the twenty first day. the purely aspect you may want to do is wait. Sorry.

you do NOT have to wait until you missed your first period I KNOW! I am now 8 weeks and I took a home test two weeks after my period and found out that I was preg! Yet I took it that fast because I am a high risk carrier! Good luck

I'd slap her for several reasons.
If she's having unprotected sex, she'll probably get hit with an STD sooner or later, too.

A menses is your body flushing itself out. If you have a period, you're not pregnant.
