If you sent it Friday she was probably away from the office for the weekend and dealing with a million things on Monday and same with today. The beginning of the week is the wrost time to call and check up on resume status. Wednesdays are the best time, it's the middle of the week, most hassles are taken care of and new projects don't come until the end of the day.

I would call. at my job I am faxing things everyday and I'm ordered to do a "follow up call"
Just call and say "Hello so and so, I understand you are probably busy, but I just wanted to follow up and make sure you received my fax on Friday afternoon?"
Easy enough. Makes it look like you are being responsible in getting the paperwork out - and doesn't make you look like you are desperate for the job!
Hope I helped!
Good luck!

I would wait until the end of the week to follow up. If you emailed it late Friday, she may not have had a chance to look at it then for very long. So figure that she had yesterday and today to look at it. If she is interested in bringing you in for an interview, she'll call you.

Hey there from working in Human Resources I would say give her untill Wednesday afternoon. If she hasn't called you by Wednesday afternoon I would call her back and tell her that you sent her a resume last week and you just wanted to call and make sure she received it and also to see if your credentials matched with what she is looking for. Calling to early or to late can be both detrimental to your career with that company. Calling to late means you didn't really care about the position you obviously had submitted several resumes. Calling to early can make you seem to anxious to accept the position thus equating to her/him offering you a lower entry salary. This would cause them to assume that you are desperate. Also when you calls you and talks with you listen to her answer that can be key in identifying your next step. If she lets you down that your skills don't match what shes looking for...that take an opportunity to thank her and let her know that you understand, however you would still like an opportunity to meet with her to discuss your current skills and education and your current employment experience with her. Tell her that you would like to work for the company and that you would like to discuss other possible opportunities. On the otherhand if she tells you that your skills match...insist on moving forward. Ask her when would be a good time to come in and discuss the highlights of your skills with the hiring manager. Be forward...however not pushy. Most companies love a self-motivated and outgoing employee, not a pushy.....but outgoing confident in themselves. If you are shy or timid and don't phatom the idea of coming by to discuss your skills for a "Pre interview" she may send your resume in with the rest of the stack. Keep that in mind.....GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

I always say aggressive is the way to go. I'd call to make sure she got it and to see if she needs anything else. If she gives you a time line like I'll call you in two day. If she doens't call you give her one extra day and call back. People want to know that you want the job and thats how you stand out in thier mind. If she gives you a time frame don't call before because thats irratating. If she hasn't established contact there is nothing wrong with you showing intiative. Ok and Good Luck!

Twenty four hours. Call today and ask if was received. You should be notified at that point whether or not they wish you to come in for an interview or if there is a deadline date that they are still excepting resumes.

I always wait a two days. People are busy, so give them time to receive it and review it. Be persistence, but not overbearing when following up with a employer about your resume.
I would call her today, and then follow up with her in the later part of the week.

It's fine to call to make sure they received the resume. You can also ask if they have already reviewed it and are considering you for an interview or not.

I would call the moment after I fax over... but anyway, no harm call just to make sure she has received your resume.
Good Luck!
