i live on the second floor of the next door building . I also found out that they spreaded to 2 other neighbours backyards. I am worried that they can climb up on the bricks and clothes line and come in by the dryer hose or stove fan... going crazy... please help reassure me...

They can climb anything. The question is, will they? If there is abundant food at the ground level they are not likely to make a great effort to climb.

They will climb up inside the walls, make nests in there also. You need to contact your town or city's Health Officer. Get pictures, statements from other neighbors to support your claim.

Hell yeah rats are like spiderman. They can climb just about anything. I suggest getting a BB gun and picking the lil bastards off and call the health dept

Rats are nasty but very good climbers. Call the health department for assistence in getting rid of them.

The rats are already there, inside the walls, in the floors, in the ceiling, in the vent pipes, they're everywhere.

ABSOLUTELY!! They can! They can also squeeze through smaller holes and cracks than you would ever believe.
I would set traps to be on the safe side. Just be sure you put them out of reach of children and pets.

CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT IN YOUR AREA....JUST SAY THERES RATS HERE.......THEY ALWAYS COME IF THERE IS A BABY MENTIONED IN YOUR CONCERN.....THEY COME RIGHT AWAY IF THERE IS AN INFANT MENTIONED.....THEY CERTAINLY CAN COME IN FROM A YARD AND ENTER THE BUILDING .....

After you go to bed ... listen quietly in the dark... You'll hear them scurrying about ..
