Please give me some recommendations.
So much of the Christian music that's out there is LAME, slow, fall asleep on the pew praise music.
I have enough boredom in my life. (read 9-5) I need something to keep me hopping.
Please no played-out AA, Petra or Stryper.
Thanks.

When I used to go to church, I had a couple of records I liked. One was of greatest hits from DC Talk, which was cool. I had a record from Sara Groves called "Conversations", which while not exactly rockin' out, didn't really put me to sleep either. A friend gave me a Jars of Clay tape that I enjoyed. I also liked P.O.D. Whatever suits your taste and God's!

Oooh... where to begin?

Skillet and Plumb are good for those who like to sing about issues.

Jeremy Camp (sounds a bit like Lifehouse) loves to talk about faith and God's love and worship from the heart.

Relient K is teenage but the quirkiness of their lyrics are worth a listen to.

Rebecca St. James sounds like Alanis Morrissette.

I personally suggest the best thing you do is turn on some Christian radio online or otherwise and judge for yourself. God bless. :)
