I think that people develop a frame work for self preservation as a child. Guidance and outside influences determine how 'healthy' it is.

From that point on the bumble through life generally taking the path of least Resistance to their framework. As they age on occasion they have momentary flashes of insight and see that their framework wants them to go direction A, but direction B will be better in the long run... So they make modifications to that framework, and eventually choice B becomes the 'easier'.

I for example hate conflict... I have taken abuse and back peddled many times rather than stand up for myself... Because it was what my framework said was easier... It is simple to take it on the chin and walk away... (For me) and it was not easy to stand up for myself.

For someone else it may be easier to come out swinging, then to stop and think about how their actions effect other people. In their framework that is the easier choice... that doesn't require thought or damage their pride.

That is the best I can figure... It isn't fate, its what is easier for the individual. Sometimes people shine, and do something hard... And that is personal growth.

Well, they have to do something. If they dont do what they do, they would do something else and then you'd be asking the same question again.

So dont ask why, just accept it and try to live in peace with it.

I think, It's all about destiny.
People do the things by their 'free will' but those 'free will' are also forced by the destiny.
