My fax is not going through for some reason, is there any special area code that has to be dialed calling from the U.S. to Australia? The number Im trying to dial is +61 2 9555 25**

FYI, the "+" symbol is often used as dialing internationally works different in every country. Therefore, 011 from the US is the american equivalent of +. it looks like if you substitute 011 for the + you should connect fine.

Oh yes, for any intertional call you have to dial the country code as well.Example: 011-Country code-Area code-Phone number and number sign#.

Not only do I remember that, but I remember when the first 2 numbers were stated as letters... like JU5 - Jupiter 5, or CA9 - Capitol 9 ! And no I'm not an idiot who answered one of your earlier questions !
