Definitely, especially if you are talking about how to win friends and influence people, it's even more useful and relevant today, just adapt it to modern day circumstances.

Relevant but dated...it must be remembered that much of the material in this vein was produced based on guesses (most incorrect) about how the individual and social psyches function. As we learn more about how things REALLY work between the ears (and between the lips and the ears) we discover just how quaint and limited in value so much once-revered work is today. Norman Vincent Peale, Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, even relative latecomers such as Wayne Dyer are pretty weak stuff now.

That said, if you're a person who's a lot LIKE Peale, Hill, Carnegie, or Dyer, then OF COURSE the advice is relevant. But don't rely on it as authoritative, because it's anything but. Life and social interactions are far more complex (and far more interesting) than Carnegie or any of his followers (that I know of) show knowledge of.

Yes, most relevant. If you haven't read the whole book, and applied his principals then you are missing out on a lot. It might seem weird at first, but yes, his advice still works.
