I would have to say the best choise for a phone you can buy froma provider is the PINK SLVR it has itunes,512 incl removable memory,very sleek package and almost perfect reception given by Cingular Wireless. The most trendy phone right now which you can easily but from a provider is the sidekick 3, it has a removable memory slot (With a music player),AIM,Web Browser, and much more. As for unlocked phones I would either go with the Nokia N91 or the Sony Ericsson W900,W810i .

I love my Palm Treo 650, it has pictures (good digital camera) I have tons of music on it (now my fiancee can have the Ipod), it also serves as my calendar and phonebook, and I can synchronized it in my computer to make sure I always have a back-up, i can go online on it, and so many more features, it might be bulky but now I carry less on my purse...

Seems like everyone's got a Razr these days. I got the Sony Ericsson Walkman phone (600i) and I love it. It's also a digital camera, and a radio. You can connect it to your computer with the included usb cord and transfer full songs from your computer on it (thus - the walkman). You can play some cool graphic games on it too. ;)

Razr are overrated and outdated.
If you MUST go with a thin phone like that, go with the slvr because not as many people have them. Keyboard phones are awesome and so is the LG digital camera for Cingular..
