3 weeks post concepption or 3 weeks post LMP? Yes 3 weeks after conception can be either by bllodtest or by one of the more expensive home tests, more likely to be positive if indeed pregnant after another week though. If however you are 3 weeks since last menstral period & think you may be pregnant, then no it is too early. Implantation takes at least 7-10 (likley 9-10) days aAFTER conception. It isn't until implantation that your body will be producing enough Hcg-pregnancy hormone to be detected by ANY test. Good luck & maybe congratulations.

There are very good home pregnancy kits that can detect as little as 25 IU of HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin). You can go to the drugstore and read the package labels on the outside of the box.
An ultrasound performed by a healthcare professional may also be able to detect a pregnancy at 3 weeks.

Pregnancy tests can be categorized into 3 categories: urine test in doctor's office, at home pregnancy tests and blood tests. The urine test and the blood test in a doctor's office can detect approximately 7-10 days after conception. The home pregnancy tests usually detect about 14 days after conception (around time of period).

Blood tests are very accurate in early pregnancy because they detect hormones in your body that begin developing from the moment of conception. It's the same hormone pregnancy tests look for, however, blood tests can detect even very slight amounts.

It can't be detected if you buy an over-the-counter test like EPT so don't waste your money. Those store bought ones only work if you have already missed your period. A Dr. however will be able to tell you if they take your blood and do a blood test! Call and ask your Dr. if they perform blood test like that.

That's how far along I was when I found out I was having my son! Every body's body is different, but to answer your question, "YES!" If your menstrual cycle is regular, then buy a pregnancy test, you can't go wrong! I hadn't even missed mine, when I found out! GOOD LUCK!

Possibly. We all are different and our bodies produce our pregnancy hormone in different amounts. If you think you are pregnant, test. If it says negative, you can go see your doctor. But treat yourself as you are, that way your better safe not sorry!
