because you are genuinely interested or is it because the players look totally HOTTT!!! Franky i watch it because of both reasons??? what about you

initially i used to look at it because my father used to play for our national team when i was small and i got to travel all over with him but as i got older i realised that hey these players really are hottt!!!!!!!!!

I watch football (the real football- known to some as "soccer") because I love the game. It is the greatest sport in the world and very exciting, it being a low-scoring game does not take away from the excitement, I can always keep my interest in a match. It is a game of brilliant tactics and graceful skill, and also much emotion! I've been watching it since I was a child, so like many here, I have grown up with it also. As for the hot guys, that is a bonus! Of course I love the gorgeous guys who play too, skill, looks, charm, personality, that makes the whole package! How can anyone not notice that some of the players are very good-looking? They make the beautiful game even more beautiful!
Like Exploradora said, if the guys were just walking down the street we would still be attracted to them.

American "football" could never compare to the real football, it's just a game where a bunch of apes run around and pin each other, absolutely no skill or tactic in it, it's just vulgur stupidity, but Americans are quite obsessed with stupid things.

I like football like soccer and football like American football. I started watching because my brother plays for his highschool and is a total soccer junkie. He loves watching it, so I got interested too. But I have to admit that the guys are totally hott. And its not just at the professional level. Even at the highschool and college level soccer players are hott. But I watch for both reasons. It's a great game to watch, v. interesting, and getting to watch hott guys run up and down the field is just an added bonus that makes the game even better.

Why don't you Brits just call it soccer like that chap named Brown did when he wanted to make it sound unique? That way you won't seem like an ugly wench when you put down the longer established game of American football. I really don't think you appreciate the nuances of soccer any more than I do when I watch Maria Sharapova play tennis. Admit it, it's all about the sex appeal. The only thing you don't like about the National Football League is that the players aren't wearing shorts and falling about like little girls when the wind kicks up.

I've been watching football (the REAL FOOTball :D) since I was like 4 or smthg.. so at that age i don't think i cared if the players were cute or no... maybe i do care a bit now.. but it's sure thats not the main reason why i watch football...

both=) although at first when i was introduced to the game by my dad i found that i like the game very much..but then after watching too many football i realized the players are hot!! now i hav 1 more reason to luv the game much much much more..oo..and me mom-she luvs it too;) by the way, american football is total crap..it's rugby actually..they changed a few rules an added a few accessories and then call it football..it's played with both hands and feet..how can it be FOOTball?? another sign of american idiot..

You wildin. American football is not crap. It is not crap at all. It's a thousand times more interesting than soccer. OOOOOOH look at meeee I can kick a ball. Oh don't turn your head away. The most exciting part is comin up. I'm going to shoot a goal. Look at me I made it. I put a ball in a net. I am now the best athlete ever.

Im a woman and I watch the NFL for the sports action,I could care less about how a guy looks playing any sport. I just enjoy the game along with my husband..... And its not American crap !!!!!!!

I watch it for both reasons too. I mean I grew up watching and playing soccer (I grew up in France). So it's just there. Part of my heritage I guess, LOL> But soccer for me is the best sport there is. Vive le football!
