There is too much news to read on lebanon and i was wondering of someone could sum up for me what's happening? Are we fighting there or just evacuating our own people? Is this another war or part of the ongoing one?
I'm confused

With politics! nothing is easy.
The Middle East has been in conflict for so long, it is not easy to pin point when it started. Let us go to our most current conflict.
After the 1967 war between the Arabs and the Israelis, the Arabs lost, so many had got out and moved to the only country which took them in, Jordan. After they moved in, the Palestinains, tried to take control of the country, and even their leader, at that time was Arafat, tried to kill the King of Jordan. Because of that a war broke out there, and the Palestinians lost again. The PLO were forced out of the Jordan, and many of the Palestinains remained in the country. The PLO found Lebanon, and there they went, and set up their campus, mostly in the south of Lebanon. There as well, they tried to take control, and also failed as well.
Lebanon had many conflicts among them, the civil war between the Muslims and Christians, where the majority of the country was Christians and because of the war, many were killed, and so many ran out of the country. Israel came in because the Christains wanted their help, because the Muslims were killing them by the thousands. When Israel came in, there also came Syria, and lebanon was in the middle of a masqure between the PLO who wanted to establish their own state in lebanon, the Muslims killing the Christians, Syria came in to protect its' border and at the same time help the Chrisitans, Syria want it's share of the pie, and the US came in as well.
First Israel moved out of Lebanon, but not completely, PLO and Syria remained. Then, after intensive negotiation with the help of the US, Syria moved out, but they left Hezbullah behind. Fully armed and supplied with so much weapons from Syria and Iran.
Lebanese government is a some what what only a figure of a governmet. The control lies with Hezbullah. Hezbullah wants to get rid of Israel at any cost. "Syria will fight untill the last lebanese is dead, and Hezbullah will fight until the last Syrian and Lebanese is Dead!!" got the picture!
That was History, and now what is happening now. Hezbullah kidnapped two soldiers to provoke the Israeli government into some action! The Israelis took that as an act of war, so they reacted harshly. The US is not fighting there, but the people there view Israel the same as the US, if we are there or not we are to be blamed. In the Middle East, the US gets blamed over anything and everything, even if we don't have a think to do with it!
It is between Israel and Hezbullah, Iranian people.
Is it anothe War??? good question! with the Middle east who can tell! That region has been in conflict even before the birth of Jesus Christ, and most likely will still be.

it's pretty easy.
Israel invaded southern Lebanon in the 1980's. Hezbollah was created as a guerilla force against the invading army. Hezbollah hates Israel and started to kill Israeli civilians (which was wrong). Israel then took that as justification to kill hundreds of Lebanese civilians (an even bigger wrong).
The US is evacuating its citizens, but has done really nothing to stop Israel. Why? That is more complicated. The US supports Israel no matter what it does to it's neighbors.

It's war and to some extent its unjustifiable.
A poll in the UK shown that around 60% of the population thinks that Israel overreacted towards the Hezbollah threat.
Imagine what the rest of the world thinks if that is what the citizens of a country(UK) that supports Israel think

where do u live dude , America isn't officially part of the war of-course From behind the seances America is playin an Affective role , through out of this whole war ... U know how much America Supports Israel , besides Israel is bombing Lebanon and killing Civilians ..!!

Thats what i like to know and i really dont get it. if anyone knows plz im me to give me some info, i did watch the news but all i got was bomb and evacuation or some ****..
