U r in a moving MRT. U r standing @ Pt A. When u jump, will u land back on Pt A or land on other places? Though when u jump, the amt of time tat u r in the air maybe less than 1 sec but is tat enough 4 u 2 shift ur position in the moving MRT? If it doesn't, mind explaining 2 me how?

Yes and no.

Assumptions: Jumping straight up into the air, with no deflections; MRT moving in a forward direction.

If the "point" you are referring to is a point on the MRT: You would land on exactly the same point as where you jumped as you are travelling at the same speed in a forward direction as is the MRT. As such, the distance you moved forward is the same distance the MRT moved.

The "point" is on the track, not on the MRT. Then, since you are travelling at in a forward direction, while the track is not, you would travel and land at a different point in relation to the track.

yes, a little, unless the train is very fast and you can jump much higher, if not, you won't move away very far from the point where u jump from.
