You are right, evolution is based on practicality, if humans were under constant threat from preators, homosexuals (as a subspecies) would not survive as they cannot reproduce naturally without a member of the opposite sex. Therefore, for it to be natural, homosexuality must be based on personal variables of some form, but I cannot say if they are innate or due to experiences.
Also, the natural/normal debate is an interesting one, as what is natural is not always considered normal e.g. if complications occur during child-birth, a doctor may call the birth abnormal, but it would be natural (provided the complications occured without human intevention) so in this debate, it is essential to make a distinction between what is percieved natural and/or normal.
Normal is based on the majority, so homosexuals are not normal, but I do not know if their orientation is natural.
I hope you liked my answer, as it was not simply a backlash because you dared to imply that homosexualality may not be natural, or just blindly just called you homophobioc/bigoted!

There is no use in asking a question like that, it doesn't prolong the race, therefore it has to be a "miscoding" in your genetic make up. I think you should seek therapy.

It is a natural thing. Homosexuality happens in animals as well as humans. It's been part of the human experience since records have been kept. Some societies were more accepting than now, is all.
Contrary to what it may seem like, your opinions do not constitute natural law, and it's not up to you to decide what's "natural", or what is a "miscoding" or defect. Try a little tolerance some time.

Why should we need to prolong the race (although plenty of gay men and women do by way of having children)? It's a preference that needs no justification, being gay is only being different from the majority orientation, sadly it doesn't protect me from people implying that I'm somehow inferior. Perhaps the questioner would like to ask a more constructive question that isn't inherently homphobic?
It's been thirty years since it was removed from the list of psychiatric illness - move on

Define natural.
Is posting derogatory comments under the guise of a question natural?
Explain how "miscoding" in the genetic make up can be affected by therapy.
Of course, you know the people who are most upset about homosexuality are those that fear inside that they too are that way inclined.

Get a life you narrow-minded gimp. Love is love. Everybody loves in different ways. Gays and lesbians are just being themselves. Just doing what comes naturally to them. You can't 'be' anyone other than yourself so why even try? It would be very boring if we were all the same. Why not just embrace others for their different attributes instead of pointing the finger and preaching that they are 'not natural.'
Imagine if you had the whole world coming up to you, and criticising you for not being natural? Don't think you would like it somehow. Put yourself in someone else's shoes and empathise.
They are not doing any harm. They are not firing rockets at people in the Middle East, or detonating bombs on public transport. Why not let people be, you'd be much happier.

I really don't think therapy will change the homosexuals. I really think that "true" homosexuals are the way they are due to genetic make up, meaning they can't be altered. In my opinion gays should not be discriminated against, it is there life they can do as they wish but marriage should not be allowed. There needs to be boundaries that they cannot cross such as marriage and adopting kids.

Don't be silly. If you knew anything about genetic coding or sexuality you would realise just how ridiculous you sound. I would explain it to you, but I feel I would be wasting my time.
I shall leave you with just one thought. I imagine you are reading and writing from your home, fabricated from a number of materials not found growing/ developing "naturally" in their current form. The computer you are using is not a naturally occurring item, having required considerable manipulation of a number of elemental atoms before it was delivered to your home in a vehicle - probably not on the back of a donkey. Since babies are not born with the ability to read, write or type, one imagines you have undergone a number of non-natural processes to have been able to voice your bigotted opininion here.
In short, how "natural" is any human behaviour, and who are you to dictate a natural code to anybody else?

Absolutely. I also recommend intensive therapy for people who are too short (there is an excellent time-tested "rack" program in Idaho), and of course therapy is a must for people with freckles - totally useless biological error! It's also important that we provide therapy for the eyelash-impaired (I've been in a great stretching program for several months) since this deficiency could affect the propogation of the species in that if you don't see well, you'll pick lesser sexual partners. So much therapy to provide, so few practitioners...

No schmuck. There is nothing wrong with homosexuality. My wife and I cannot have children, so we cannot prolong the race. Does this mean it is not natural as well, and we are miscoded? No. Wake up to reality.
