What I mean is Iran has said they will wipe Israel off the map, they have their nuke program going on and were under heat, so is this what they did to get the worlds attention away from them for them to have more time to plot their evil?

It wouldn't surprise me, but I think it is more likely that Hezbollah took this opportunity to try and draw attention to Israel and its propensity for dispropotionate responses. Why do you think they kidnapped the two (repeat two) soldiers, instead of just killing them. They wanted a response like this to show Israel's true colors.
