Ok, I'm in the process of starting my very own cleaning company. However, I do have a full-time job. The company next door from where I currently work, came into our office this morning, asking if we can give them our cleaning company contact information. The young lady that was cleaning for them, they found out she was stealing from there company. I gave her our company's cleaning person info, but I want to go over there and present my business offer to her. Do you all think that'll be a good idea? I have no customers as of now, but I still want to go and talk to them, what shall I do?

Present yourself like you would to any other potential customer. I don't see a conflict of interest here.

If you had not yet given your neighbor the other cleaning companies contact info, it could be a shoe in the business for you. Prospective Clients ask for references. If you have no references then you will need to be creative.
Make up a good business name with a business card, and when asked if you have experience just say 'that you would not be asking for her business if you didn't know'.
I'm in the Cleaning business, competition has been increasing and other businesses are under bidding contracts, so key here is to keep customer satisfaction in check,do an outstanding job. most small business do not like to switch cleaning companies if they are satisfied with the one they have and have all the needed equipment for cleaning.
so price what you think is fair for each job sight. pick up a how-to book at a bookstore. Cleaning is not one of those jobs that no one else will do. Go for it! Are you in my city?

Well, if you go over and they say no you haven't got a cleaning job so are in the same possition you are in at the moment. However, if they say yes then you are sorted. In short, what can you lose by not going round. Can you ask your current employers to provide a reference for you? Do you have business plan? if not - just talk through what you propose with them. Good luck darling.

Talk to them as you would any other, HONESTLY. But put your plan in action, in that you need to figure out the time you'd need to devote to both your full time job, and your biz as well. Perhaps you can go part time with your job. (to keep benefits) And do your biz full time.
Please keep in mind that to be successful, it's usually harder and longer hours. But if that's what you WANT to do and you have the determination, you'll love every minit, and will do very well.
Please dont do anything strictly for the money. You must enjoy what you choose to do! GOOD LUCK! :)
