I often wonder why people aren't more proactive about their health when it's well within their power to extend their lifespans, increase their quality of life, and look wonderful - just by adopting healthy behaviours.

Because some people aren't even aware that they're lifestyle is unhealthy and it has become a habit so they don't know how to fix another thing is some people like they're lifestyle and is OK with it they have to want to fix it own they're own.

Ignorance is bliss. I have been working out and eating healthy for about 10 years now. Some of my friends make fun of me for it, but I laugh at their ignorance because I know I feel better than they do.

It doesn't seem fun or appealing in the short term to adopt a "healthy" practice. We tend to think in the short term, not the long term.

Because not everybody wants to live to be 130 years old. I want to die at a respectable age when I'm still able to care for myself and I haven't outlived my children.

Because it's so much easier to sit in front of the tv or computer and just eat and drink.

lazyiness, unwillingness, not being strong enough. its not easy.
