College is one option, but experience is definitely
more valuable than a piece of paper. I myself did not
finish / graduate from college, but I have been working
in the same field for over 10 years. I started out as
an office asst, moved onto bookkeeper and now I
am the Financial Adviser of a very stable company.
I also am paid above average for someone in my
position (with or without a college degree).
So as long as your confident, knowledgeable and
have a proven track record you don't necessarily
need a college degree. I work with quite a few
people that have there Bachelor's but do not have
an ounce of common sense (together).

There are many jobs that do not require a degree. My staff is about 50% with degrees and 50% without. I am a real estate appraiser...I have a degree, but my assistants do not. As far as a long-term career, I would suggest that you try advertising if you have that kind of skill, selling is also an easy one.

There's quite a list. Any trade that can be learned through apprenticeship doesn't need college, although you might end up taking a few college courses as a requirement.
However, you will tend to make more money as a degreed person over the long term.

There are thousands of jobs that do not require a college degree, but do require training. Examples are auto mechanic, electrician, plumber, carpenter, electronics technician...the list goes on and on.
Jobs that don't require training are usually low paying. Think fast food, landscaping helper, factory job, delivery person, etc.

Fast food, gas station attendant, Wal-Mart attendant, low-level clerical work (receptionist, office support staff, etc.), maintenance, janitorial/maid-service, construction. Basically the lower-level, common jobs. If you have a degree, though, you can make more money than the non-degree-holders in these jobs.

go get the degree and you will be qualified for many more jobs. if you are young and are thinking about not going to college, you are making the wrong decision. it's only a few years and they may be the best years of your life.
