After searching for what the hell I want to do when I graduate highschool, all I have been able to come up with are part time jobs. I'm learning to bartend, I want to go to school for massage therapy, and now I have become interested in the whole dominatrix thing. Is there anything wrong with that? Would you tell your parents you wanted to do that?

If you want to be a Pro Domme, then I would suggest that you find a reputable Pro Domme to train you and work with you so that you learn the CORRECT method of being a Pro Domme. I would also suggest that you serve for some time as a submissive, in order to get an idea as to how it feels to serve Someone.

As for the money aspect, there can be a lot made in this profession....IF YOU'RE GOOD. Too many people think it's easy to be a Dominant, and treat those who serve as though they are whale shyte.

I would also suggest that you do your research on the Lifestyle, including the lingo, the kinks, The various forms of the Lifestyle, local groups you can network with, and your own limits. You cannot hope to control and Dominate someone else if you cannot do the same to yourself.

If you would like any more information, please let Me know. I am willing to discuss this with you, if you are interested.

I think you want to be a dominatrix because in real life the opposite is probably true. You're a submissive girl. Nothing wrong with exploring another side of yourself. If you can't be proud enogh of what you do to tell your parents, maybe it isn't the right job for you?

Hi..i have been a lifestyle submissive most of my life and i agree with Dark's coments...but you cant just wake up one day find life boring and think ..oh i wanna be a Domme,it just dont work like that,a Domme has to be asertive in everything they do because they wield the power and if you aint trained and your not in vibe with your submissive you could cause serious damage and abuse, and abuse is what gets the lifestyle the bad image,so think hard and then as Dark say's do both sides of the coin that way you understand the lifestyle from both sides..good luck.

I would tell your parents you work in physical therapy, that would be close to the truth. Dominatrix is part of the sex trade, most parents would not approve of this!

A dominatrix is like a high priced prostitute preforming acts of bondage on paying customers, and would not be a wise career choice for a person with any need for self-respect.

However, you could make a lot of money doing it. So who cares what anybody thinks right?

Why not? You make tons of money and you humiliate (willing) others, as opposed to having to be humiliated. You have to have a strong personality though, and I fear that if you are the sort who is afraid to tell your parents, then perhaps this isn't the career for you.

i'd recommend telling her really the way you experience, for the period of "known hours". You 2 possibly already have particular obstacles or limits set up, as is continually a sturdy theory, so only upload this to the record of 'off-reduce' practices. i'm confident she'll appreciate you for talking your options.

Is that the best you can do? You want to humiliate and degrade human beings for a living? You want to inflict pain and emotional distress? You want to dress up in sweaty latex bodysuits with the crotch cut out and have some weird dude with a dog collar and a full face mask with only the mouth and nose cut out? Is that your idea of an awesome career? If so, go for it, I guess. But I bet you'll come out seriously jaded from being in such a dark, depressing and inhumane environment.

Good luck.
And no, don't tell your parents. It's not fair to put them through that. Keep that part of your life secret.

If you're looking for a job that your parents will be proud of, then that's the wrong job. BUT if you want to choose it for YOU, then you're going theright way.
