Isn't it just mass x acceleration? So 8000N x 5.0 x 10^(-4)s / 0.046kg= 869.56 N s /kg (I'll let you do the unit conversion)

m=0.046 kg, F=8kN, t=0.0005 s.

F=m (dv/dt)
F= (mv1 - mv0)/t
F=m(v1 - v0)/t

where v0 = 0 m/s, v1 = ?

F=mv1/t - 0
v1=Ft/m
v1=8000*0.0005/0.046
v1=86.96 m/s

is this homework question? if yes poor guy, do some reading on textbook & repeat until understand
