I have kept my eyes on him since he was in Marquette. I kinda sensed he was a future star player when he did a triple double against Kentucky. Anyway, I don't understand how such an electrifying player ended up at Marquette instead of other powerhouses like U of Illinois, Connecticut, and Duke. Was he not that outstanding in high school? What was the reason? I'm not saying Marquette has a weak bball program, but it's certainly not a perrenial powerhouse. Can someone give me some explanation? How was he like in high school? I'm so curious because many ppl thought LeBron and Carmelo were more influential than Dwayne, but he now seems to have a bigger impact on his team. THanx.

Dwyane Wade was obviously good in HS but he was an under the radar guy. With LeBron and Melo recieving the HS hype the Marquette alum wasn't noticed. He wasn't underrated in HS cuz no one even rated him. In the 2003 draft he was taken 5th overall so was he underrated then? Maybe, but the 5th pick is great, too. Now he's earned it. Finals MVP, All-star isn't underrated anymore.

he was not really underrate in high school, he struggled academically AND only was admitted to Maquette provisionally. He was actually just as disgusting in high school and played with Tony Allen of the Celtics and Bynum who went o Georgia Tech and is now in the NBA. This made the big time schools shy away, because he was regarded as a player that was a bit of a gamble. Worked out for Marquette and for the heat though

convinced, i imagine hes underrated in techniques yet nonetheless reported by using numerous human beings. LeBron and Kobe take each and every of the spotlight, and that i do not blame all and sundry talking about them there large. i imagine that Miami is the single which would not enable him to get out and play like LeBron and Kobe. i'd say hes underrated, what percentage men like which could unmarried-handedly take and win a popularity for his crew? None, i imagine hes underrated and it truly is going to be LeBron, Kobe, and Dwayne, hes an fantastically good participant yet would not upward push as a lot as publicity as the different 2 men.
