Postalmaria is right. Just like she cannot make you forgive her for the same mistake, you really cannot "make" her do the same.
But, you can try to win her trust back, little by little, apologize (minute details are usually not needed, just stick to the facts) and admit you were wrong in that apology, and accept responsibility for your actions, and tell her what steps you are taking to try not to ever let it happen again.
That being said, flowers, a sincere card, and some PERSONAL yet thoughtful gesture that shows you really want to win back her trust and respect, that is what you want to go for. Jewelry is nice but if you do that, and she doesn't forgive you, don't expect to get it back. It's better to start small, and then once you see she is gradually trusting you once again, you can get her a big gift just to say "I LOVE YOU" but don't cover-up a mistake with a gift in the hopes that she is gold-digger enough to say "Oh, I definitely forgive you." Because if she's smart and doesn't want you after your mistake, she'll keep it, not forgive you and you are out 2 ways.
Don't be insincere. IF you are not sorry, it will be evident.
But, you are on the right track as you want to make amends, and just wanting shows you are remorseful, if she really loves you and you are really going to try harder, she will see it and she WILL forgive you. There's not a lot a woman won't forgive as long as she knows you are not making it a habit or your next side hobby.

You can't make anyone forgive you. Apologize sincerely, and offer a nice gesture, a gift maybe, but some things a woman just isn't going to forgive. Cheating for example is one of those things.

Give her space to think it over... stay away from her... but send her roses or whatever her favorite things are everyday and everyday make it bigger and better .... then in about a week show up at her door on your knees and ask her forgivness when she answers the door... I would totally forgive you if you did something like that.

if its bad than a real apology and ask for her forgiveness u cant make any 1 forgive u but flowers dimonds is shes shollow but if she really down to earth just have everything u say come from the heart, NOT rehersed

Keep doing really sweet things for her. Really sappy stuff like write a poem and have flowers delivered to her work or school. Get a guitar or something and actually stand outside her house and play a tune (even if it sucks, it's sweet).
Do really really romantic stuff. She'll give in.

Admit you were wrong, apologize and ask for her forgiveness, omit any and all excuses for your behavior. Assure her that you would not do anything to intentionally hurt or upset her, and remind her that you love her.

Do something really nice for her something she would never expect from you. Maybe cook dinner or plan a night out.
