I just came back from vacationing in Belize, and had a thousand mosquito bites. They itched like crazy. I took a shower, scrubbed with a loofa poured alcohol on them and covered myself with Benadryl cream. Worked for me!! But I wouldn't tell you to do it. However, the alcohol felt good because it burned away the itch and the Benadryl cream stopped the itch from coming back. So do those two and forget about the loofa, I only used that to scratch with so that my nails didn't leave a scar from scratching.

Rubbing alcohol or witch hazel will soothe them. Cocoa butter will help them heal or Calamine lotion, the pink stuff for chicken pox that looks like Pepto Bismol. I've heard Boudreaux's Butt Paste for babies bottoms works all over the body and works on adults too.

I slap them a couple times to get it to stop itching. Not as bad as scratching.

Simple solution; take so toothpaste with fluoride and place a small amount on the area affected. It works so well. Trust me as a summer camp counselor; many parents would forget their kids mosquito repellent, but not the toothpaste. So we improvised.

Dab a little ammonia on them with a Q-tip. It stinks for a few seconds but the ammonia really takes the itch out.

Try slapping yourself or put some lemon juice on it, the juice will burn for a second, but the itch should go away

Benedryl Gel can be purchased at any store...even Walmart. Spred it on and the itching stops.
