tell her the truth. from my experience, the way people were in high school can be totally different than how they are 4 years later. at least tell her what you know.

People can and do change. What you think and what you know are two different things. You could simply say that in high school he was a typical guy, but seeing as how several years have passed he has probably matured, etc. etc. I will say it again, people can and do change so don't dog the guy. If you find that you can't handle it, just say you don't really remember him that well.

be a good friend tell her what you know. but you also remember that people change, so he might not be the same guy he was back in high school. but you should be honest and tell her what you no about him, you wouldn't want to see your friend get hurt now would you. some times the truth may be the hardest thing to say but it will help the most in the long run.
GOOD LUCK!
=)

As long as his past didn't follow him to his future, I say just wait and see if that past rear its ugly head.
I say four years ago is enough time to grow up and mature this is still left to see with the guy your talking about.
Whatever you think of him shouldn't have a barring on whether she choose to date the guy or not especially if what you say took place four years ago.
Now , you can tell her what you know and make it clear that what your talking about was four years ago and at least she can look out for the warning signs before she get head over heels for him..

I think you should be straight up with your friend, just tell him what you know, and what you heard back in high school whether it's true or not, just to warn her. she may get an attitude and defensive thinking that you just don't want her to go out with him for some reason, but just remind yourself that you know the truth and that's all that counts. and maybe he's changed since 4 years ago. and if he's still the same and does something to their relationship don't say "i told you so" just be there for your friend. realize it's all part of life.

You could tell her what he used to be like. The focus needs to be that this was how he was four years ago. SOOOOOOO much can change, especially if they've experienced college, work, living in the real world. She needs to give him a deserving chance not based on things from the past.

You need to formulate an opinion of who the dude is right now. It just doesn't make any sense to tell her what you think is the truth based on information that is four years old.

give him the benefit of the doubt.it is possible for people to change.
you can't judge someone for the rest of their life on how they were in high school. that is really unfair.
i am sure that you are not the same person as you were back then, whether it be a good or bad change.
perhaps you should see how he is treating her and then make your decision on whether or not she needs to know about his past from high school.
good luck in your decision and i hope you really give it some thought.

She is your friend and would like to have an honest answer from you. So tell her what you know and emphasize on the fact that it has been a while since you knew him. So she can make her own mind.
