Do you have a wedding ring on your finger? Then no. Not trying to be mean, but seriously if you start having sex now in a little while when you get your period your gonna be on here a few months later asking "Could I be pregnant?" I know you're thinking "oh that'll never happen to me" but it happens every day--just look on here. Even if you don't get pregnant, there's still always a good chance you'll end up with a disease and have to live with it the rest of your life.

Ignore all the mean, judgemental and hateful answers you've gotten here, please, those are people who have issues with themselves. Don't let people who hate themselves tell you what to do with your life.
First off, while it's not totally out of the ordinary for a girl your age to not have her period yet, most girls your age have gotten it. If you haven't seen a doctor yesterday, you should get a check up and have a talk with your doctor about how your body is developing to make sure that everything is on track.
Secondly, you're physically capable of having sex, but if you're asking: can I get pregnant? Well, it's definitely possible. If you do choose to have sex, make sure that you are protecting yourself against pregnancy and STDs as much as possible. There are a lot of great sites online that will give you information that you can use (WebMD, TeenWire, or, really, any reputable, hospital-associated web site) and, of course, you can always visit your local library, talk with your school nurse, your parents, and your doctor.
Don't let anyone pressure you into having sex; if you have any doubts at all, don't do it. When you do feel you are ready, whether that's now or a dozen years from now, be sure you are fullly prepared for what is a very serious decision.

You really are too young to have sex, but if you do make sure that you use protection. I would also go to the doctor, because you should be having a period by now. And don't listen to people who say you can't get pregnant. Think really hard about whether you want to have sex because it's something YOU want to do, or is it because your bf, is pressuring you. Don't give it away, because when you do you give a part of who you are. and some guys won't be worth that much.

Just because you have not had your "monthly" that does not mean that you can have sex......what it means is your body is not ready for sex. Although sex can be for pleasure the reason is in the season do you even know whay you have a menstral cycle? Yeah yeah yeah all of that stuff that you were taught in sex ed.......but it also symbolizes the fact that you are a full grown woman (in your body not by law so dont get happy). Sex is primarily to reproduce and you can not do that just yet because you have not had your cycle. So to answer your question you and your body are not ready yet. Also to ADD a little to my above statments "JUST BECAUSE YOUR BODY IS READY THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE READY MENTALLY". Do yoursself, your family, and last that BOY that you want to be with all a favor and wait.

No you cannot have sex...you are not a woman you are just a child.
Do you know what results in teen sex? Have your parents told you if you have sex as a child you can either get pregnant, catch AIDS or some kind of STD. If your parents have not told then some responsible adult such as myself who cannot sit back and let some teen ruin their life just because they want to act grown.
Keep your head in those school books, go to college, get married and then have kids by then you will have lived your life and enjoyed every moment without having to raise a baby or having some kind of disease or living with AIDS.

I know your hormones are raging...................but you are too young for that huge step in your life. Concentrate on your grades, your career and being successful when you graduate from college. Don't let these air headed boys make you feel that you need to sleep with them.
Not having a period yet is not the green light to have sex. You still might end up an unwanted surprise like..........diseases or pregnancy!!

I agree with the first person. You should't be having sex unless there is a wedding ring on your finger. Sex is something that bonds a husband and wife together. It is not just an act. I know that a lot of your friends are having sex. but, in the end they will just get hurt. Please don't do anything stupid. Believe me a real man want to marry a virgin. And being a virgin on your wedding night ( man or woman) is something to be very proud of. Save you self for you husband. It is so worth the wait.

I would say that is a bad idea. Obviously your body hasn't finished developing yet. It's doesnt need the physical and emotional distress of sex right now. And I wouldn't judge my readiness on mensas either. I started when I was 9.

You can still have sex but I don't think you should because you're too young and not married. Young girls around your age don't really know the consequences of having sex your age: STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases), pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, etc. Be careful and choose abstinence. I know you're tired of hearing everybody answer you the way I just did but it's the truth and God will reward you in the end for making the right decision. Please make the right decision.
