The subject of photography through a telescope is huge! There are many specialized astronomical cameras available, and many ways to adapt regular cameras to use on a telescope. The simplest way is to just hold the camera up to the eyepiece and take a picture. Many people have used a regular webcam to take great pictures of the planets through a telescope.

The sources below are just a tiny sample of what is commercially available. There are countless books on astrophotography in print. Also check out the digital_astro and QCUIAG yahoo groups.

Most telescope manufactures offer accessories to attach a digital camera. Some like Orion have a ccd that will allow you to be able to view on a monitor or TV screen.

if they don't come with a camara then you've just invented a great product...get a patent quick before someone steels the idea
