I am sure you are talking about smoking tobacco.

1. It is a mental depressant, that is, it reduces your ability to think.
2. it is addictive. The nicotine in the cigarettes produces a certain alkaline compound in our brains that brings cravings for the tobacco.
3. It makes your lung less efficient because of accumulation of soot in the bronchi
4. It increases the chances of lung or mouth cancer.
5. It is bad for others who have to take the smoke even without wanting it.
6. It increases risk of asthma
7. Reduces Stamina and efficiency to do strenuous work
8. Reduces mental concentration levels
9. Makes your teeth yellowish, even making them black in extreme cases.
10. It gives bad breath.
11. It is also said to affect your potency in males and increases risk of miscarriage in females.

These are only a few of the ill-effects of smoking.

I am sure you will refrain from smoking and refrain others from smoking

Tobacco is an herb and all natural. It has been used by native cultures in North and South America for centuries who claim it has restorative powers.

So what could be bad about it? It's been used by Natives.. for centuries! Why would they use it if it were bad for them? These are a wise people!

Interesting how the same argument used for so many herbal remedies can be applied to tobacco, which EVERYONE (ahem) knows is dangerous.

Sad really.

Are these consequences fun?
A pressure, heaviness, and often pain in my lungs in the morning.
Morning cough.
Loss of my singing voice.
Breathlessness in my reading voice.
Unpleasant irritation of the mucous membranes of my mouth.
General tiredness and loss of energy.
Headaches.
I realize that I need to take naps to combat the tiredness I feel because my body has to process all the poisons that cigs have.
Cigarette hangovers after late nights out.
The need to exercise early in the day, before having smoked a lot.
Waking up at night coughing or with tickles in my throat.

Smoking also causes you to smell badly (breath, skin, clothing), gives you wrinkles and it is an expensive habit!
