If the feet come first, it is dangerous. The legs can get split apart and injure the baby. Also, the feet can do a lot of damage to the woman giving birth. If the head comes out first, as it naturally does when there aren't complications, it sort of paves the way out and the rest of the body easily comes out after it.
If you picture it in your head, it would be much more difficult to get two legs, two arms, and the torso out than it would just the head, after which everything else comes without trouble.

That is how babies are suppose to be born. If they come out feet first their head will get stuck in the birth canal or pelvic bone and risk the baby of dying in which most cases ends up in a C section. The head has to come out first.
You should take some health classes, watch Discovery Health or the Learning Channel about babies.

Because the head is the biggest part of the baby. Once the head comes out, the shoulders rotate and the rest pretty much slips out. The bones of the head aren't fused at birth, so they mold to help the baby fit through the pelvis. (Ever see a newborn baby with "conehead" before?)

The head comes out first because if the legs came out first, the baby would die from lack of air.

Because of geometry....if it comes out legs first then this is called a "breech" the legs get sideways as well as the arms. Think of when you dive into a pool head first as opposed to jumping in feet first...you get a bigger splash with the latter. Kind of aerodynamics of the womb....lol. God knows what he is doing...

It doesn't always. It is better because the head is the biggest part and the skull is flexible because the cranial bones aren't completely sutured, If something happens, at least the head is out so the baby can get oxygen.

Because if the legs come out first, the baby will get caught in the umbilical cord and might die. And the baby needs air when it's time for birth

It should be common sense don't you need air after coming out of the pool and when you come up for air it's usually head first right?

Simple physics; it's less likely to cause injury to the infant or the mother.

the spine- it can be compressed without causing damage, but if you pulled a baby out feet first you'd snap the neck
