never, no one else can afford his contract..

The fans in NY just need to support him, not discourage him!

A-Rod ain't going anywhere. When a baseball player is in a slump, the key thing to do is stay consistent and keep doing what you were taught and everyone in the Yankee organization is going to give A-Rod all the time he needs to pull out of it. Just because he makes 25 million this year and is set to make 27 mil next year, fans expect A-Rod to be great right now. Leave him alone and give him some time.

As a Red Sox fan, I hope he never leaves.. he is such a hex and bad luck for that team... notice that his first year in the Bronx the Red Sox break the curse and rally from a 3-0 deficet? Also, he was involved in a play that helped break the curse.. well two actually... the ball slapping incident vs. Arroyo... and July 24 2004, when he started teh fight with Veritek that ignited the Red Sox fury to win the whole thing... without A-rod in NY.. Boston would have never won in 2004 :)

A-Rod isnt going to leave New York any time soon. They may never trade him. Just because he is in a slump, that doesn't mean they have to trade him. Hes worth alot more than he seems.

If you people don't leave him alone, probably as soon as possible. He was MVP last year, Player of the Month in May, he just hit 2 milestones this week. He is still one of the all time greats, he's just in a slump. All of my fellow Yankee fans need to stop being whiny crybabies, and SUPPORT THEIR TEAM. Take Cubs fans, and, yes, Red Sox fans as your examples. The Red Sox didn't win the series for 86 years, and their fans were unwaveringly loyal. They didn't boo Ted Williams, who never got a series ring, when he had a slump.

Now I know why everyone hates Yankees fans. I'm starting to hate them, too, and I AM one.

I hope A-Rod leaves soon. He isn't comfortable as a Yank and he can't play third base effectively. I see him in a Texas Rangers uniform next season.

Listen, he is NOT going to get traded because I got an e-mail saying they will not trade him. He won't leave New York until he retires, which won't be for a very, very long time because he will be 31 on July 27.

Soon I think,.....not to long ago after he came up to bat and struck out with runners in scoring position the PA played Air Supply "All Out of Love".....coincidence? I think not.

I believe that New York is getting tired of the Yankees.....

Never because he is too valuable to the team. He has about 450 HR for his career and he has over 1,500 hits also he has won a couple gold gloves. Also nobody can afford his asking price...He'll stay as a Yankee.

He won't. Not even when he retires. He'll be back for Old-Timer's day. He's a first ballot Hall-of-Famer, come on!

Thanks to the TRUE Yankee fans who support him. I have posted more comments about this for the next questions posted on this subject by hiding1959.

GO YANKS!!!!!

Not sure. He might just retire in a Yankee uniform or get fined for doing something bad. Go Red Sox.
