she is very funny and snooty and poor Richard cannot do enough to please her and she makes Elizabeth nervous and Emmet scared of her because she sings at him.

Patricia Rutledge, (Hyacinth), also plays Hattie Wainwright on a PBS British mystery series, and is well known for her versatility. She might be titled some day.
