I have been with Cingular Wireless for 18 months and recently moved 10 miles east from previous address only to find out I dont receive service in this area. Once in a while I may get something. Cingular refuses to let me out of my contract on their argument that I can get service someplace else. Mind you I dont even get service outside the home, so it is not even structural. To charge me if I cancel is to have licence to steal. Please help!

Im sorry but i have to respectfully disagree with you. When you signed your contract with Cingular, it clearly states in paragraph four that "cingular does not guarantee service in any areas", as no other cellular phone company can claim that they "guarantee service" anywhere in the united states. Its not a landline deal so you have to accept that you cannot have a perfect mobile phone company and your phone be able to work on any and every part of the earth. Now with that said, Cingular does have the largest and most extensive coverage of any other major carrier in the United States, and i hate to hear that in your particular situation that Cingular is not working for you. However contracts are legally binding and no one is exempt, unless due to death or military deployment. I wish you the best of luck!
