how do I make the window smaller for the person I'm chatting with?

when I click on to a friend to chat with their window is very big.I have tried to down size it by useing the maxium box but it only makes it full screen. help if you can please.

try putting your cursor in the bottom righthand corner, it should turn into an arrow and allow you to resize the window.....

For you this settings go down to the bottom of their chat box their should be an arrow on the very bottom corner click up or down whatever works be still than follow through. If you cant do that your going to have to right click on your desktop --> Properties--> Click on the tab Appearance and you can click the box that fits what you want your Windows to look like. The the lower right hand corner if you left click and hold, you can change the size of the box to any dimension you want. This also works for most software programs, as well as Windows OS windows. It has become a convention to have the point in which someone can change the size on the window be on the lower right hand corner.

also there is in your right lower cornor a box with a bunch of dots in it just put your mouse over it and drag to make it smaller
