I think that the lebanese and israelis and syrians and iran should all be left to hash it out and come to a final solution. Let the nukes fly and then the world will see how horrible it is and it might prevent a bigger war later on.
And the US should stay out of it.

It was called the Cold War. It started in the 1940s just after WW II and ended when the Berlin Wall fell. (Thanks RWR).
We are already in WW IV. It started on 9/11/2001 and won't end until the last terrorist has gone to his/her just end.
