I know it's a silly question but can any body explain baseball to me cauz i never really understood it?

And for the funny guy who said how old I am , I live in egypt , so no one really cares about baseball , soccer is the number one game here but i do and want to learn it and maybe teach others.

Baseball is a sport where there are two teams. One team is on the field and the other team is on the bench. There are nine players on the field at a time. The pitcher throws a ball towards home plate and the batter tries to hit it. Fielders tries to get the batter out by catching the ball out of the air or throwing it to first base before the batter runs there. Three strikes and the batter is out. Four balls and the batter takes a free base. Three outs and the inning is over. Nine innngs and the game is over unless there is a tie. Baseball is a slow paced game but it's America's pasttime.

Ok, here are the basics. There are 8 defense-man plus the pitcher in the field. Then there is a batter that the pitcher pitches to. If he hits it on the ground, they throw it to the base to get him out in any possible way. If he hits a fly ball, then the out-fielders most likely will catch the ball (but the fly ball might be in the infield so they could catch it). The pitcher has a count that he has to follow (4 balls is a walk, and 3 strikes) and if he gets a walk (4 balls) the batter gets to go to first, but if he gets a strike-out (3 strikes) then he is out.
