Not much you can really do .. You could beat them up--what would that solve?? You could go around talking bad about them--not going to change anything though.. So i guess i would just chalk it up to a lesson learned.. I do not trust anyone with my deepest feelings.. but myself.. I do not have best friend anymore cuz of the backstabbing crap.. I will keep it that way ..cuz its not the first time.. and won't be the last.. All I can say is be careful who you call your friend and who you share your life with..

It depends. Was this only once or a few occurences, or many times? Is the friend aware of how he or she crossed you? You should confront your friend about it. If he or she tries to lie or weasel about it (and you have conclusive proof that the double-cross(es) occurred), then maybe it's time to part ways. If this friend has a habit of doing this and shows no signs of trying to change, then I would also recommend a break-up. Leave it at that; don't seek any further vengeance for wrongs committed. If, on the other hand, this friend truly apologizes and is upset about his or her behaviour, perhaps you should consider forgiveness. It's up to you; I wish you luck.
