Well' we all know that Federer is much better than Nadal on grass. Nadal is obviously better than Federer on clay. On hardcoats they are sort of equal. But despite Nadal's win over Federer in Dubai I think Federer has the edge over him as he has got a better serve and plays more agressive. But there is one thing that favors Nadal. He has a huge mental advantage over Federer. He should have beaten Nadal in straight sets in Wimbledon but still Nadal took a set off him. In France after brilliantly taking the first set against Nadal he loses his cool and loses the next three sets in a lobsided way. So I would say that Federer is the more talented of the two but Nadal has the advantage in the rivalry.

Federer is the best. Nadal is second best. Nadal dominates on clay and only clay while the Federer Express cruises on grass, and hardcourts. Rafael has 2 Slams and Roger has about 8. Federer is better on multiple surfaces so he is better.

I think is too early to ask this question. At the moment Federer has a more complete game and 4 years ahead of experience over Nadal but the Spaniard is improving he's overall game very quickly. I think next year the rivalry will be more even in all surfaces, then we will be able to really tell who's better.

Nadal is the King of Clay, but Federer is better everywhere else.

I think they both better watch out James Blake is coming on strong. But of the two of them Nadal is better and better looking. Federer will never get the hang of clay he hates it too much.

Nadal is probably better on clay, but Federer could beat him on clay. Federer is definitely better on grass and hardcourts.

well obviously, FEDERER is a much better player. coz he has been playin here for so many years n even after knowing all his weaknesses n plus pts ppl r not able to defeat him ( ok NADAL is somehow succeded to some extent.
he plays a complete game n tony roche n many other players say that he is almost perfect.
roger plays good on grass as well , as u could see his performance in french open '06

i think nadal has a chance on grass and federer on clay because they both made it to the semi finals..... but i like nadal better......

.Well like most other tennis fans i cant deny the fact that roger is the best player of his time.
but i think rafael nadal is much better the roger fedrer cause i think nadal in much more handsome then fedrer and besides that i also think nadal has better moves and a better grip
