Thanks for the awnsers so far,
The plant is only a young plant and the flowers are a deep healthy green not the green or yellow or brown colour they go when they are dying, i dont know if this matters.

The flowers on mine start green and then turn white......
I tend to ignore it until it droops and then give it a really good soaking. Somehow it is still alive and is always getting new flowers and leaves. I've never fed it!

As peace lilly blooms get older they normally do turn green before turn brown. At the point that you decide they are ugly feel free to snip them off at the point where the flower stem comes off of a leaf stem. As for the younger flowers turning green I do not know what is causing that. I would reccommend that you stop fertilizing for awhile and see if that stops the greening. The flowers normally last about 2 months from first appearance to the point I feel it is time to trim them off. The beauty of peace lillies is that they bloom all year long. Once a year I reccommend that you give it 2 teaspoons of epsom salts sprinkled on top of the soil before watering. That will encourage it to keep it blooming year around. Good luck.

This is normal. Peace lilies turn green when they age. Cut off the flower or it will delay the growth of the rest of the plant.
"There is nothing one can do to restore the white color of the peace lily flower. It is natural for the flower to turn green as it ages. Once the flower turns green in color, it should be to cut off the plant. Otherwise, the flower may produce a seed pod which consumes the plants energy. Seeds may be used to start new plants from those plants which are true species, but it may be several years before they flower, so dividing the plants roots in the spring is the best means of propagating new plants."

From what I have read, it is normal. You should remove the flower when it turns green. This website was helpful.
http://www.briansgarden.com/questions/001126q.html
"Once the flower turns brown or green in color, remove the flower stalk at the base of the plant. Also, remove any yellow leaves that may occur from time to time at the soil level."

I'm not sure if this is "botanically correct" or not, but mine did the same thing and I gave it fertilizer and shortly afterward the new flowers came in all white again. I used the Peter's variety, and I used it for two or three waterings in a row. In my case I guess it was missing something. Hope this helps.

as the leaves and flowers dry & turn brown, cut them down. leave all green parts as they are storing energy from the sun for next year's bloom.
