Instead of spending trillions destroying the Middle East, shouldn't we be spending at least a few billion re-building our old and trattered infrastructure from LA to NY (and apparently everywhere in between)? St. Louis, NYC, LA are all doing poorly with electricity generation and propagation. New Orleans is gone (from flooding). Many places seem to be using nearly 100 year old structures and technology (like transformers). Isn't it time to rebuild America?

Before America can be rebuilt, we must get rid of the regime that has torn it down. It will take decades to rebuild our stature in the world community after what the idiots in power have done in the last 6 years. The money wasted in Iraq could have been used to fix our problems here and do some positive good in the rest of the world.

That is what city/county/state taxes are for. The Electric company is also making a tidy little profit and they should be re-investing it into their infrastructure. The federal government shouldn't be involved.

Call your elected representatives. They are the ones in charge of that. Congress controls the expendatures for our country, not the President.

And if you don't like what they do about the issue, then don't vote for them again. Get involved politically. Do something productive rather than just complaining.
