OH Man...that's a long list!
I make my daughter eat vegitables.
I wear comfortable shoes instead of high heels.
I have a flannel housecoat instead of silky-sexy thing.
I go to bed before 10:30
I won't let my 16 year old daughter get tattos, pierce anything other than her ears, date men 20 years older, or jog at night, all things I thought were so important as a teenager.
I have a mom-mobile instead of a sports car.
I wear ear plugs at heavy metal concerts (I'm usually the chaperone) and find myself saying..."this ain't music, it's noise"
I could keep going...but I think you get the drift.

Enjoying a variety of music. When I was a kid, there was only two kinds of music, rock and roll. Other things I never thought I would do: fit $70 worth of gas in my van; make love to a 48 year old woman; carry a fully functional super fast computer in a book bag; work with lasers; be a grandfather!

I was sure I wouldn't be like my mom and leave the house when she was 16.... Well i was 15 and I moved in with my 20 year old bf. Its been two years, and now I work full time, and have no girl friends. All i have is my bf, and my two kittys. I never thought in a million years that i would be taking care of myself, and my bf.
When i was A little girl, I wanted badly to grow up, and now I want badly to be a little girl again.

Good God, I hope you used to be affiliated with a "conservative" political party!
I wouldn't want to name all the things I would be willing to do before becoming a Republican.
I am 50 and certainly wouldn't have believed I would have married someone I first encountered by typing words that appeared on a TV screen. But I did, and she rocks!

I'm 32 years old.
I find databases to be interesting. 10 years ago this would have made me slit my wrists.
Also, I used to think I was going to get married some day, but now I am totally against it.
Oh, and I'm on meds. I'm taking Effexor for anxiety and OCD tendencies. I never would have done it when I was younger.
Some things I'm proud to say are the same:
I'm still very fit and active
I'm still wearing "cool" clothes
I'm still listening to "cool" music

I became addicted to golf. When I was young and playing football and basketball, etc. I swore I would never be interested in golf. It is, however, the perfect way for an old man with a bad back to keep the competitive juices flowing.

As a teenager, I swore I'd always be single and never
want kids. After 9/11, my outlook on life changed and
I met a great woman.
We dated, got engaged and then married.
Now kids are a real possibility for us and I could not
be happier. Things in your life change due to maturity,
priority and a little bit of fate.
