Lebanon was not at any war with any one, and actually what is going on over there is war between Israel and Hezbollah.... not Lebanon. Lebaneese are attacked beacause they are in crossfire between Israelis and idiots who endanger them selves and their "own people" who they are supposed to serve (as in government representation). People are there on vacation because its their birthright to go and see their families. Lebanon has finaly regained its outright independence last year, and finaly had free elections not long ago. The coutnry is in its infancy after getting from under occupation of dumb-*#% Syria.
And the propblem is people sticking their noses into someone-elses business.
Put it in another perspective, if Texas was attacked by some wackjobs from mexico, while people were in Austin or Dallas, would you ask why people were on vacation in Texas??
Also, media bias (and there is plenty of that, either way) is rampant and will never end. The only way to know what goes on abroad is to read the abroad newspapers who have different perspectives of what's going on where.

Because An Israely did it accidently, maybe during fighting an Arab and PROTECTING the American. The Arab did it ON PURPOSE. This is the big "but" about all this "Israel-is-evil" nonsense.

Yes. They are at war. With Lebanon, and Syria.
Yes. Civilians are getting killed. But why are civilians traveling to a war zone for a family vacation. Case in point: A family of 5 from Montreal killed last week in Lebanon----- Now.... Why were they there?
A country at war, is a country that is a war zone.
Israel is a war zone
Lebanon is a war zone
People sould just NOT go there

--Because we are in a war in an Arab nation. When idiotic Americans are going to Lebenon for three month vacations and get shot in the cross fire (Because Hezbelloh hides in civilian areas like cowards, which I notice you didn't bring up) things happen. Besides Isreal is our Ally.
