It's not bad, but there is a stain on it that I would like to get out or bleach. Do you have any solutions?

Don't be embarrassed, these types of stains can happen. You may want to check with the manufacturer of the mattress initially, to see if they have any suggestions. If you cannot do that my first suggestion would be to blot up as much of the stain as is possible with a clean white towel or white paper towels, then use Oxyclean powder mix into a paste, and work into the stain from the outside toward the center, which will keep from spreading the stain further out across the fabric. I would use a soft nail brush to work the mixture into the fabric. Blot this up as much as possible, then rinse with a small amount of water. Wet a couple of paper towels slightly and remove the remaining mixture. Blot dry and let it air dry for awhile to make sure that the stain is completely gone. You may have to repeat this process a couple of times, before all of the stain is gone. If the Oxyclean solution doesn't remove all of the stain, I would try working in a small amount of hydrogen peroxide to remove the remainder. Only use a small amount, a spoonful or so, you do not want to saturate too much of the inner layers of fabric or filling. Dab it on the remaining stain with a Qtip or one of those small foam type makeup applicators. Let the peroxide work into the stain for a few minutes; you may actually see a bit of bubbling, this is the peroxide "working." Then you can blot up this solution, and let air dry. The stain should be gone. If you want to, you can actually use a hair dryer set on low or medium to completely dry the fabric. I would suggest that you buy a mattress cover ASAP, so you don't have to go through this process again. There are less expensive ones that are just plastic, and better ones that have fabric on top and plastic underneath, so that you don't get that "crunching" sound of the plastic when you are trying to sleep. It is important to try and protect mattresses today, they are so expensive. Best of luck to you! Hope this helps.

I would take a sponge and a bucket of detergent and water and clean out the stains. Let it dry and try to do it again if it doesn't all come out. Then I would buy a mattress cover so if it happens again, you are covered. You could also get a mattress pad to put on top of the cover so that the plastic won't bother you when you are trying to sleep. There is no air between the plastic and the mattress. So if you are sensitive like me, it's better to get a mattress pd to top off the mattress cover. Try it slowly and don't worry about the stains. It will happen.

If it's a bodily fluid that has protein in it - blood, semen, etc., then you can use hydrogen peroxide to get the majority of the stain out. It may take a few applications, but it's relatively less abrasive to your mattress fabric than bleach. I've also heard that oxyclean works well for stains, but I've never tried it so I can't vouch for it. Worst case scenario - you can use bleach, but again, be careful not to let it eat a hole in your mattress. Good luck - and don't be embarrassed - everyone has mattress stains.

Try Lysol w/bleach or one of the Oxi Clean formulas. Oxi Clean has products for laundry (which I use for laundry and on other fabrics in the house) that works very well on my kids' soiled clothes. It should work well on the mattress, too. Be careful with the products containing bleach, as they will stain your mattress. Also, please be sure not to mix bleach with anything except a mild detergent. Bleach is toxic when mixed with other chemicals.

I would suggest getting a high traffic carpet spray and spraying it on the area, and a few minutes later, rubbing it in to get down into it. Spray it again, let it set and blot it dry.

if it's blood, some hydrogen peroxide will lift it out, just put some on, let it bubble, and wipe with cold water
