Well if you mean beach-beach as water & sand...then I must say there is one here in my country that makes it so special, cause its not polluted, the sand is like dust (so thin it is) and its golden in color. The water is clear and you can see the fish all over the place....there are points of the beach that if you stand from a tree or from one of the houses they have built over the water, you can practically see the fish like if they were on a fish tank. Its truly beautiful. Now, lets not talk about the food... the food is delicious, they take the lobsters and the crabs and the fresh fish right there in front of you, and cook it before your eyes. There is just the wind, the sun, the water and your soul, an amazing experience, the best thing? There are hardly turist in this zone, cause its so primitive people dont like to go there, but they do have small cabins to spend the day and enjoy yourself...... the place is called Isla Zapatilla (name in english is tennis shoe, cause the island has that shape) and its located in Bocas del Toro, Panama Republic of Panama.
If sand is something that doesnt really take your fun away, then I must say the most beautiful sea place were you can spend holidays, is located in Capri, Italy. The island is rock, there is not much sand, at Marina Grande (in the back part of the island) you will find a place where people lay under umbrellas, and they just spend the day there. There is a fabulous restaurant that serves you the most delicious fresh italian food ever, exquisite and scrumptious, its just an amazing place to spend in the sun, reading, or just falling in love with the marvelous view of the Mediterranean, the Fariglioni, the Sorrento Island, and the view of the whole place.
Aw, think i have to start saving money again .....

Punalu'u Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii. Black glass beach, clear gorgeous water w/turtles in the water and sunning themselves on the beach. It left an impression that called for a tattoo of a seaturtle on my ankle bone to join the waves anklet that was inked earlier.

Whitehavn Beach in Queensland, Australia.
Maybe because i have never seen such clear water and such white soft sand :)
The whole "picture" was beautiful.
Not at last, because i was there with some very nice people and had a barbie, sunbath and went snorkelling.
A wonderful place!

Kaanapali beach in Maui, HI.
The water was warm and clear. There was no rip tide. The sand was clean. There was a spot to surf small waves that wouldn't kill you. It wasn't crowded when we were there in October, but the weather was perfect. The hotel we stayed at gave us towels to use, we didn't even have to worry about bringing our own. Plenty of places to eat nearby, in your bathing suit. They have showers when you come off the sand right near the cement walkway, so you can rinse yourself off and not get sand in your shoes.

Because it's popular in our country (philippines). It has white sand, clean water and a great environment. Not only filipinos (that's what we called ourselves living in philippines) visited in Boracay, there's also American, Korean, Japanese and many more. It proven that Boracay is one of the popular visited place because also foreign people go and visit there..
