what the best bait to use for bottom fishing ? I have had luck with chicken liver, but the biggest fish I could catch is 8lb cat. I don't harm them I just do it for relaxing. I let them go, after a photo of course.

Well night crawlers (large worms)work best but you probably don't want to handle them i know i don't care to.But corn works very well for Catfish large or small my grandfather and i have even cought channel Cats,very large fish.That was in the DE river.

I've had luck with salmon roe tied in a up in a small nylon bag....with this method I have caught some big sturgeon
