You hate yourself? You are a living person with strength, just like any other human. You have the capability for greatness! You are unique! You are a miracle of nature! Why do you hate yourself?
Are you being untrue to yourself? If you are, then you hate the fake you, not the real you! Be yourself, only you can!
Have you done something bad? There are ways to make up for everything. Helping those you've hurt is a great way to start.
Do you feel just hopeless? Futureless? Don't! There was a time where you would have been stuck, but you're not! You have a public school system available (or have come out of one) and there are so many job possibilities, love possibilities, and sucess possibilities!
If you feel depressed, a psycologist can help. There's no reason to hate yourself! Good luck!

Self-hate is the most insidious and pervasive problem we all have. Self-hate underlies most patterns, and rules most relationships. The patterns springing from it can manifest in a wide variety of ways. That's because self-hate hides so well, and has the ability to co-opt other patterns for its use.
Remember, the purpose of a pattern is twofold: to mask the real feelings/pain we hold, and to play out or create the reality of the beliefs within the pattern. (See How Patterns Work for more on this.)
At the base of the self-hate patterns are a feeling of deep unworthiness. So the pattern must find ways to both hide the real feelings, and also play them out in reality in some way. If reality doesn't fit what self-hate believes is true, the pattern will cause us to do something that will sabotage our success. Whether it's self-sabotage or getting others to participate in our downfall, the self-hate patterns can be quite creative in finding ways to make reality fit the "I am bad" picture.
This is difficult to understand, to believe that we would be so perverse as to purposely create self-harming realities! But it's also a testament to our innate power to create.

Probably for a lot of reasons. Who can know your personal reasons, we aren't mind readers.
A couple of good guesses might be that you were picked on as a child, bullied, or abused in some way and now have a distorted sense of yourself. Or that you are ugly, or think you're ugly. Who really knows for sure, your question doesn't hint at anything leaving use to analyze all the other ****** up people we've met and try to make a comparison to you.
Since we don't know you....your question is not going to get any accurate answers.

The basic causal are certain misperceptions taken-on by your MIND at or near your birth. These are fears of one or both parents that are taken-on by your MIND as part of its structuring of your personality that will fulfill your Fate Karma. If you are questioning [if genuine] then the chance is good that it may be time for you to rise above one or more of these misperceptions. Paying very close attention to what events cause you to "hate yourself" will give you a clue. Then give youself permission to grieve for the pain such self-hate causes. Grief is an eraser of such misperceptions.

You probably have lots of reasons. You may be unatttractive, your personality may be lacking. You may just act dumb alot, or you may actually be dumb. You may not have any friends, be broke all of the time, and no future what so ever. Examine this issue for yourself and you should probably come up with many issues, some of which I just named.

I used to hate myself too. In my case it was because I felt I was pretty much useless. I'm still useless but thanks to the Wellbutin, Lexapro and Prozac I don't care anymore. NO the fact is I was never completely useless. In some people that hate themselves there really is no rational reason for it. And the opposite is true too. Take a Bin Ladin or Hitler. Both ought to have hated themselves for their remorseless killings. But Hitler didn't and Bin Ladin doesn't. Maybe its because they both hated others and blame them for their failings. The thing is, you believe what you want to believe. Change the belief that you should hate yourself and it will stop. No one should hate anyone. You don't even have the right to hate yourself. No matter how dispicable you think you are. In your mind you are supporting this belief and you are going to hate yourself no matter what anybody else says. You have laid claim to this hatred and no one is going to take it away from you. Ever get down? You convince yourself that this is the way you are and maybe you don't even know why you are feeling down. But you hold on to the feeling. Think about it next time you are down. Happy people are all around and you could be happy too. But "Oh No, I'm going to be down and no one can stop me!"
Go somewhere and have a nice cry. And then let go of this irrational insistance to hate yourself. The mind is everything. Take control of it and don't let it run your life. When a negative thought pops up in your mind don't give it anymore thought then "a negative thought has popped up in my mind" don't judge it just let it go. It will go just as it came if you don't give it power by grabbing hold of it. Everything arises and then passes away. This is as true for thoughts of self hatred as it is civilizations. The mind creates all these thoughts on its own. Don't be fooled by believing them. Sit in a chair in your mind, in a room with two doors. Think of the negative thoughts that your mind comes up with as bad people. And let them go in one door and out the other. They invited themselves, they want to stay, they will do anything for your attention, anything for you to acknowledge them. But don't acknowledge them. Except to watch them come in one door and go out the other. This is Meditation by the way, its Buddhism. I practice it. I'm on medication too. If I go off the medication I will get down. But I know that if I had the strength of mind to let my negative thoughts just come & go without stopping and listening to what they have to say. I wouldn't require my medication for my depression. This is why I meditate to practice control of my mind. Otherwise it will go on auto pilot and try to run itself. Everyones mind is like this. The answer to your question is in your own mind. Learn how take charge of it and you will solve your problem. Its hard to do. If you get depressed (thoughts of self hatred will get you there) and you can't stop it. Get some medication for it. Good luck.

Because you do not recognize your value as a person. You are probably depressed, and should see your doctor.
You are a person with value. People care about you. Even though we have never met, I care about you, and think you are worth loving.
Have hope, and get help. You are in my thoughts.
