lots of things but i think the main causes are likely to be stress, diet (being over or under weight), and a change in hormones. hope thats helped

A lot of stuff. My grandmother blamed it on the moon ha ha. I blame it on stress, too much exercise, drastic weight gain or lose, recent illness, too much sex. And my doctor says that sometimes your body just switches up your flow with age.
