me and my boyfriend were in a relationship for 6 months and when he went back to canada i was left in new york..and he told me that he cant stand the relatioship..cuz its long distance..and then we broke up...I just dont get it...why men cant stand this kind of relationship.

Some people can take a long distance relationship - others can't. My now-husband and I were long-distance for a good part of our engagement - but we had a well-established relationship already. I've seen friends break up, one set of married friends divorced over a fairly short (in my opinion) separation. Military guys & gals can testify to this, especially, I'm sure - there's a lot of them that get "Dear John" letters or emails when they're deployed or stationed overseas. The "whys & wherefores" as my father always put it, are varied and many.

I accept as true with BonesofaTeacher...i'm in a lengthy distance relationship. my boyfriend is contained in the military and we purely see one yet another some cases in about 5 months.
