Sourav is a gr8 player indeed....
but he is facing his bad times.... he is in pressure these dayz which makes him lose his concentration over the game......
SOME DAY....
he will recover and be the best player again
THE 'BCCI' is too responsible for that specially

The selectors view is that he got the differencew with the coach.
In my view though he is a good cricketer earlier, he is now in a very bad form. He is not able to get nice and appreciable scores in the county level. So there is a chance for him to not to get good scores at the international level also. Recently he got an injury on jaw also.
Comming to his bowling, though he is getting 1 or 2 wickets in the county level, he did not get any in the recent matches (Counties and international also). So there is no chance for him to get back into the side as a bowling all-rounder also.
Comming to the fielding. Though Kaif, Raina are very good and top class fielders, they are not able to get a permanent place in the Indian side so for a player like Ganguly, There is very less chance to get into the side as a fielder also.
Considering the above views, I can explain the exclusion of Saurav Ganguly from the Team India.

yes, he was never been in good form{i am saying about last 2-3 years} u can argue that he has proved his mettle in international cricket but he was given an exceptionally long run, this doesnt mean the selectors have just discarded him if he gets into good form i am sure that he will come back
